Cartoony Friends!

WE, are one "Eccentric-Team" (Zia, Vasantha and Uma), well-known in the office as Gabbar's Team, always bubbling with out-of-the-box ideas! It was Zia's idea to cartoon our band. Thanks! to his brilliant effort in getting it on the frame. And, Manav is the He-man of the team who believes firmly in "Variety is the Spice of Life". Cheers!!!

My first visit to the Valley!

My first-ever visit to Srinagar (Kashmir) as a tourist, was way back in 1999, just three months after the Kargil War. Since i hail from Bangalore, southern India, it was sheer curiosity coupled with an apportunity to see the other side of the much-hyped war-torn city which was then just limping back to normalcy.

WE- myself and a friend, had not thought of making it to Kashmir even in our remotest dreams at that point of time, as it was considered a 'misadventure' stepping into that region. Infact, we had planned to explore Uttaranchal, but perhaps, destiny had something else in store for us. On reaching Delhi, we had to divert our journey to Kashmir due to landslides in Uttaranchal. In retrospect, it was worth the visit !

On return, did write my first article on Kashmir, unveiling some of my personal observations and viewpoint. Below is the article. Read on...

My Wish...My Aspiration...

One thing is quite clear and stronger in me now. Someday, I want to be a good presenter like 'Sri Manchala', our CEO. He is a very charming, hard-core professional; very articulate, confident, and knows the rules of the game. I simply adore his chain of thoughts and the way it's put across to the audience. Incredible!! I know, it's these and other qualities, makes you what you are. And, that's the reason he is' The CEO'

Some thought-provoking images

Recently, i got a forwarded mail from a friend which was so touchy that it almost forced me to think about all those who are less privileged. Believe me, it moved me to comprehend the intensity of the thin line which differentiates the Haves and the Have-nots. As i read, the glaring images stared into my face, clearing away the misty feeling that it's OK to crib. No, not anymore. Now i feel am really blessed! I would like to share some of these images here.

NOTE: Many strive for the very basic things in life and 'WE' seem to crib about everthing in life. Perhaps, these images will change the way we look at things.

Do you hear their unspoken words????? I do. Only if we stop cribbng...
